Guido just pronounced: Django is the web framework

• Won’t be part of the core, but will be as “standard” as PIL or NumPy
• This was not what I expected the outcome of my talk would be, but hey, I’ll take it ;-)
• He hopes that Django and TurboGears will converge

不過，Kevin Dangoor 聞言是相當失望。我雖然懶得學 TurboGears，但也不是很想見到獨尊一家的情形，更何況 TurboGears 和 Django 的整合可能會比讓 Django 1.0 發行還花時間。各種不同的系統與框架必然最符合創作團隊本身與期待的需求，可以想像 Dangoor 對 Python BDFL 的這項說法會有很複雜的感受。

然而 Django 確實是一套好系統。Gustavo Picón (Feedjack 的作者) 對此事也作了一些評論與分析，可讓讀者多了解一點 GvR 的想法。我沒有資格作什麼分析或評斷，但會繼續期待 Django 以及其它 Python 網頁程設框架往後的蓬勃發展。
